Today I remembered an event by Tim: The discordian lesson on 2005-11-27 somewhere in Berlin.

It was an interesting lesson about the discordianism and the religion itself with many examples and backgrounds.

Some hours ago I read heise.de and figured out that today is the 7th SysAdminDay. It's a great idea to think about your SysAdmin and thank him/her for all the great work he/her have done.

So let's celebrate this special day once a year like the people will do it in Hamburg with a big SysAdminsDays party.

Today I got the agreement for the boarding school in Ilmenau.
I will live there at house A.

This was very important for me, because I plan to study at the university of technique in Ilmenau. My studies will begin there in October and I am really happy now. :-)

Less than an hour it will be time for ChaosRadio 115 (22 o'clock MESZ) about the E-Card (German article). At the studio will be Harald Welte, ThoMaus, nn and Holger Klein.

ChaosRadio has moved its Wikipedia pages into an own ChaosRadio wiki. This episode has got (as usual) an own wiki page (CR115), where you can add comments, ask questions to the team and you can have a look to the alternative streams URIs.

Yesterday I received a mail from Martin Schulze about the Upcoming Release of Debian GNU/Linux 4.0.

Etch should be relased on December 2006. It's the first Debian version which includes the amd64 port.
And this time all 11 architectures should be released together.

The Linux kernel would be a 2.6.17. Other news would be gcc version 4.1 as the default compiler, Xorg and some new apt bugs^Wfeatures.

Until the time of Etch's release, there are several parties (as usual). For more information have also a look at BSPMarathon @wiki.debian.org.

Please go into your shell and type: basti@Woody:~$ ddate Today is Setting Orange, the 59th day of Confusion in the YOLD 3172 I didn't know before that ddate exists in my favourite distribution. This little program shows the discordian date. It's normally part of util-linux or sys-apps/util-linux.

Because I had a look yesterday on Tim's user page on the Wikipedia, I figured out the interesting page about the discordianism.

One evening in real life...
I saw yesterday an interesting event entry on nordhausen.de about live music in one of our streets.

Just because I need some fresh air I went out to the event. It was a lovely evening with some people out there. Nevertheless, the street(s) was almost empty and there was no live music there. Great feeling.

Hello guys out there! Sorry for being inactive these days - but there are much of work. :-/

First I had to redesign a layout for a webpage and worked there together with doomed on it - much work, and some really nasty CSS things. But it looks now not too bad in the end. ^_^

Today I worked on my old school website and added there a new category and some new articels. Hopefully someone enjoy it.

Only 2 days left until holidays for our pupils in Thueringia. So I wish everybody a great summer and lot of fun!
